Product Description Ages 7 & up. Play a card from your hand, place a chip on a corresponding space on the game board. When you have five in a row, it's a SEQUENCE. Learn to block your opponents - remove their chips. Watch out for the Jacks - THEY'RE WILD! With a little strategy and a little luck, you're a winner! For 2 - 12 players.
Editorial Review With touches of canasta, rummy, and poker, this game could easily become a Friday-night favorite. The object is to get a "sequence," meaning a row of five poker-like chips on the game board. The board itself depicts lines of face-up playing cards. Players place their "crowning" chips on top of the card pictures, and can form sequences by using strategy and knowing which Sequence cards to keep or discard. Since forethought, luck, and backup plans are the keys to winning, this game is probably too sophisticated for children under 7 years old. (But young ones can team up with adults.) Included are 104 playing cards and 50 crowning chips in each color: red, blue, and green. --Gail Hudson

Sequence, a great game! March 18, 2010 E. Hetzel (USA) I have two grandchildren, 13 and 10, who live in a different city. Whenever I go visit, I like to take a new game to enjoy. Last time, I took Sequence and not only did they love it, but we played ALL weekend ! To a certain extent it is a thinking/strategy game but, of course, you have to draw good cards.
Then, I took it with me on a week's vacation with three other teaching chums and they too loved it so it has a universal appeal.
Great to find such a versatile, challenging game of which one does not tire.
Like it, Love it, Can't get enough of it! February 22, 2010 B. Bader (Kentucky, USA) This is a wonderful game of strategy and fun. My whole family loves to play it: Grandma (age 86), Mom (age 57), me (age 25), sister (age 34), nieces (ages 7, 10, and 12).
Sequence is for all ages February 10, 2010 Lynda J. Miles (Beverly Hills, FL) This is a great family game and can be played with teams or by individual players. Children as young as 10 can be involved on a team and do just as well as seniors or older children. I first played it with a group of senior citizens (ahem. . . myself included) and everyone had a good time. It's just plain fun!
Remove the Jacks and it's even better February 4, 2010 Coffee Klatch Reviews (Stockton, CA) My wife and I have played this game nearly every day for over two years. When you first get the game you'll have fun figuring out strategies and efficient thinking methods so that it doesn't take so long to take a move. (I won't ruin the joy of making those discoveries on your own.)
After we played the game for some time (a month or two?) we decided that the Jacks made the luck swing too much one way or the other so we've been playing without them ever since. In the two years that we've played we've had 2 or 3 games go to a draw, which was fun in itself. It is always fun to watch the board in those games where the board fills up and wonder, Is this going to be one of those games that goes all the way to the last card?
What's great about this game is that after you get your thinking system down (perhaps using particular card placement in your hand to help) it requires just the right amount of thought where you can actually eat dinner and play and have a pleasant conversation about your day all at the same time.
Great game. Wish I invented it!
Must Have Game for Family Fun Nights! February 1, 2010 J. K. Rowling (CT) WE play this game all the time as teams. Ages range from 12 to 48 and everyone chooses this game to play when it is Family Fun Night!
