Great Fun for Entire Family & Friends! July 14, 2010 DCH (Northern California) I first played this game with 2 of my nephews when they were about 4 and 6 years old, and we all had a blast. I've since purchased it for other nieces & nephews, all of whom have loved it. There are no "winners" or "losers" and everyone gets to play. Even the adults (or those of us who are only chronologically adults) have fun with this game. I highly recommend it!
A worst quality product. June 5, 2010 H. Zheng (Los Gatos, CA USA) It's 4 star fun because I do wish there are more cards.
The quality is terrible!
1. The game board is falling apart brand new. They printed the picture on a thin piece of paper and glued it to the board. Well, they did such a poor job that only a small fraction of the paper is actually "glued" to the board. Most of the paper is hanging falling off. And when you put your fingers on the board and pick up again, you can hear the sticky "zizizi~~~" sound. When you fold it and unfold again, it goes "zizizizizizizi~~~~~~~~~~~~~". I was so afraid that one day it will simply stick together folded and won't unfold again so I fold it the other way round: with the picture out instead of the black side.
2. The cards came as ONE big chunk of board/paper and you need to break them all apart. Well that is not a problem. The problem is: there is this one scratchy spot on every edge of each card! It's very annoying to feel them scratchy on your hands all the time. I have an almost 2 that actually complained about her hands being hurt and immediately put those cards down. Oh, another thing is: although I was very careful, I still broke one of the cards while trying to break them apart. The picture got ruined because those two cards will not break on the cut line.
I didn't return it because my 4 yr old does like it (most new games) and that I've never returned anything on amazon and don't know how much trouble. But still, I really hate the quality of this thing. I would pay just 5 bucks for such quality. I'm not going to buy any university game again.
charades for kids March 20, 2010 busy mom (San Diego, CA) My kids love this! They are 4 and 7 and I wish I had gotten it when they were younger. They can play it without adult supervision. It really taps into their creative side. I would recommend this for young kids 3 and up depending on their need for creativity. Although it seemed simple for my daughter the more she played the more creative she became.
amazing classroom game February 13, 2010 Lydia Love (San Francisco) I had this game for my own kids when they were 4-7 and we really enjoyed it. Now I use it in my classroom and it is my children's favorite game. I like the non competitive nature of the game and I adore watching the children act out the words. Whoever designed this game really understands kids.
Can't miss with this one. December 4, 2009 Lynn Brukx (Fairfax, VA) We've had this game for about 4 years now and my kids still love playing it. I love that it encourages creativity and doesn't focus on who gets to the finish line first. It's always fun to see what the little ones can come up with to act out what's on the cards. A super game, kids love it & mom approves.
