necessary but badly made July 21, 2010 Sumayya A. Ansari (Santa Clara, CA United States) I bought this for my daughter hoping she would learn the basic word. It is easy and fun way of learning the words. But it is made really cheap and the game had very few words. I will do flash cards with my second instead of the game.
Mediocre June 22, 2010 "Mama Moon" (U.S.A.) I, too, love Learning Resources products - but Sight Word Bingo doesn't match the quality and educational value of thier other activities. There is not enough variety to the sight words, and as another reviewer mentions, it can be overly repetitive. It does reinforce some of the sight words that my son is encountering in our reading material, thus the OK rating. Overall, not worth the price.

the game is better played with more than 2 people because cards do not have most of the words that are contained on the spinner.
I wish the cards had more words. March 1, 2009 Bless Yahweh (PA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
There are 8 words and a free space per card. The materials are cardboard no thicker than a cereal box. The spinner works well and my son is picking up the words though.
Great Game! January 15, 2009 Heidi A. Markey My daughter and her friend love playing this game. They beg to play it over and over. They are both in the first grade, and this game has made all of the difference in the world. They have so much fun they don't even realize they are learning!
