Product Description The follow-up to one of the most awarded games of all time has finally arrived! Qwirkle Cubes plays very much like Qwirkle. However, you have more control over your hand because you can roll and re-roll your dice to get the shapes you want! Also, because everyone plays open-handed, you can better judge your opponent's future moves. Simply create rows and columns of matching colors or shapes to score the most points. And, as always, no reading is required, making this truly a game the entire family can play! Includes 90 wood cubes. 2 to 4 players. Ages 6 and up.

Great for kids! May 19, 2010 Joy Anne Jeffrey (LAKEWOOD, CO, US) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The best thing about this game is that it fits all ages and it remains fun even when there are only two players.
Quick paced fun......... May 16, 2010 K. Walker (North Carolina) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a fun game...easy rules...and even the little ones can play with just a little help. Quick pace, and not a long drawn out game.
Qwirkle With More Flexibility April 20, 2010 Barb Mechalke (in the lovely Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We started out with Qwirkle the original and later added the cube version to our collection. Both games are good for your brain. If simple is better for you I recommend sticking with the original. But if you've tried the original and really enjoyed it you will probably like this even more. My five year old son and I play this and we both enjoy it. It's a good multigenerational game.
Quite a bit of fun April 8, 2010 David Whitehouse 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I played this at a friend's house and decided to try it on my family. My wife fell in love with it instantly and my son likes it too. I'm not much into abstracts but this is one of my favorites from that genre. Plays 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your group. Pretty quick setup and easy to put away.
Fun game - easy to understand January 27, 2010 A. DeHart (Vestal, NY USA) I enjoy this game. I believe after several plays it'll still have staying power and be of interest later on. The concept is good and allows for some strategy. I would recommend this to others.
One note - we haven't tried this yet but I think it might be better with a timer. The end game gets bogged down a bit and sometimes people just take too long to think about their next move. A timer would get the game moving a bit better and offer a bit more excitement. As it is, with full complement of players, it can take 45-60 minutes. (Granted, this is with kids 11 and younger.)
