Amazon.com A variation on the original The Game of Life, this game is set offshore, far from the blissful suburbia of the 1960's version. Based on the blockbuster movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, this updated The Game of Life requires players to navigate the high seas with wacky Captain Jack Sparrow. During this pirate adventure, players move their ship tokens around the board while collecting treasure, raiding ships, acquiring additional vessels, avoiding cannibals, and trying to steer clear of the mutinous Davy Jones and his pirate ship, the Kraken. Ultimately, players finish their sailing journey at Isla Cruces, where all must tally up their pirate booty to determine the winner. The game offers plenty of twists and turns and younger players will likely find it more exciting and engaging than the original. --Cristina Vaamonde

Life Pirates August 26, 2010 angie We had trouble getting the shipment due to the fault of the post office. Dan at Tegu2books was very helpful in getting the package to us. It was supposed to be factory sealed; however at some point in the journey it was opened and the pack of cards was scattered throughout the box. They were all there, fortunately.
It's a board game, so you know what you're getting. October 31, 2009 lonewolf I got this for my girlfriend b/c she's obsessed w/ Pirates. I never played it, but she did with her family, and they enjoyed it. It's still Life, so don't expect to be shocked out of your trousers by it, but it's a nice twist on an old classic.
Better than the original July 31, 2009 CanaDave (Canada) This is the best version of Life I'd played. No betting, instead you're trying to steal from other players, battling their ships and you may even take the Black Pearl. It's just a fun game when you want to play something that doesn't take too much thought or time. It's certainly no Ticket To Ride, PowerGrid, or even Yspahan, but it's certainly enjoyable.
pirates of Caribbean game of life June 23, 2009 Nana Gerrie (Gilbert AZ USA) I bought this game after it was recommended to me by my sister. My grandsons and I had a great time playing this game. We played this game every night of their visit.
Not opened yet December 21, 2008 Cricket The box is unopen as it's for xmas. But it came wrapped as new. Hoping for it to be great!
