Great way to practice Spanish! March 10, 2010 Brenda L. Osborne (Abbeville, SC USA) We love the English version of Scrabble, so I got the Spanish version for my boyfriend. We've played it for many hours and have really enjoyed the competition. It gets a little getting used to since the amount of letters are different, but nonetheless, it's as great as it's original English version, and I love beating him in Spanish too!
Super fun! February 13, 2010 Cynthia Martinez (Parker, CO) Scrabble is an amazing game and for the people that prefers to play in Spanish it is just perfect.
What a great way to learn to spell spanish! February 12, 2010 Toni Hill (JOHNSTOWN, PA, US) I love Spanish Scrabble just as much as English scrabble. This game is a great teaching tool.
Stretch your mind in spanish December 21, 2009 Nancy C. Russell (Houston, TX United States) No surprises - this game is simply the familiar Scrabble, but with Spanish characters added. It's great exercise for prodding your mind to find Spanish words. This past Thanksgiving, it was shared by one adult fluent in Spanish plus one adult, one teenager and a nine year old who were learning Spanish. Although the teenager said it made her head hurt, she recovered quickly and we all enjoyed the challenge. !Disfruta!
scabblicioso March 21, 2009 international (USA) What makes a world language game extra wonderful is that it allows learners of that language the chance to prove to themselves that they know something, while having a fun time.
This Spanish language version thrills players when they see the different values for the letters and the different letters employed... I use this game in the classroom and marvel at the gentle pleasure had by all as they struggle to come up with words. We also play this at home, and have the same level of fun
We keep the game light... it is a challenge to all to work in a second language.
But oh what fun.
